Why we don't sell perfumes.

VESTIGIUM is not a perfume shop. We don't sell perfumes: we edit access to them.

The distinction matters. A perfume shop assumes you already know what you want. You walk in, you point, you pay. The transaction is closed before the conversation begins.

VESTIGIUM assumes the opposite: that you don't know yet, that you're listening, that you want to understand a fragrance before committing to a 250 € flacon. So we break the inaccessible into intelligible fractions. 2 ml to discover. 5 ml to understand. 10 ml to adopt and live with.

The economics of doubt

Niche perfumery in 2026 has a problem: the most interesting compositions are also the most expensive. A flacon of Ombre Nomade costs 470 €. Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, 425 €. These prices are not arbitrary: they reflect the cost of ingredients, the rarity of materials, the work of perfumers. But they create a barrier that has nothing to do with the perfume itself.

The barrier is doubt. Doubt about whether it suits you. Doubt about whether it will smell on your skin the way it smelled on paper. Doubt about whether you'll still love it in three months.

VESTIGIUM exists to dissolve that doubt, without dissolving the price of the original work.

What we are not

We are not a counterfeit. We are not a reformulation. We are not affiliated with the houses we represent. Each decant comes from an authentic flacon, sourced through an authorised reseller, conditioned in medical-grade glass, sealed under vacuum, with a documented lot number.

If you eventually buy the full flacon, buy it from Louis Vuitton or Maison Francis Kurkdjian directly. That's where it belongs.

But before you do: listen. Try. Live with the fragrance for a week. Then decide.

That's what VESTIGIUM is for.
