Are VESTIGIUM decants authentic?
Yes. Each decant comes from an authentic bottle sourced through an authorised reseller. Invoices are documented and available on request.
How long does a decant last?
12 to 24 months after opening, in normal conditions (away from light and heat). The same window as an original bottle.
What formats do you offer?
Three formats per fragrance, calibrated for the way fragrance is actually lived with:
- Sample · 2 ml to discover
- Discovery · 5 ml to understand
- Signature · 10 ml to adopt
Above 10 ml, we recommend purchasing the full bottle directly from the brand boutique: the editorial purpose of VESTIGIUM is the time and context to choose, not the bulk format.
How does the Personal Edit work?
The Personal Edit is VESTIGIUM's signature Discovery Set: compose your own selection of 5 × 2 ml samples from the entire catalogue. Pick across maisons, formats, families, any combination. The bundle automatically applies a −15% bundle discount at checkout, making it the most cost-effective way to explore multiple fragrances at once.

Where do you ship?
Currently across the European Union. France metropolitan 2-4 business days post-shipment, EU 4-7 days. Free shipping on all EU orders over 99 €.
What's your preparation time?
Five business days from payment confirmation. Each decant is conditioned to order: we don't keep pre-filled decants, to guarantee maximum olfactive freshness.
Can I return a decant?
Yes, within the European 14-day right of withdrawal, provided the VESTIGIUM seal is intact and the atomizer unused. An opened decant cannot be refunded for hygiene reasons (French Consumer Code, art. L221-28 3°).
Why prices lower than boutiques?
Because you pay only the quantity you want, not a full bottle. For a 250 €/100 ml fragrance, a 2 ml sample costs 5 € in material. Our prices include this cost + medical-grade conditioning + editorial framing. Per-ml pricing remains comparable, but the entry commitment is divided by twenty.
Are you affiliated with any of the houses?
No. VESTIGIUM is strictly independent. We resell authentic products under the legal exhaustion of rights doctrine (Directive 89/104/EEC). Brand names and fragrance names remain the exclusive property of their rights holders.
How is this different from an official sample?
An official sample is usually a 1 ml single-use vial. A VESTIGIUM decant starts at 2 ml in a professional spray atomizer: refillable, dosable, portable. Take it travelling, test it on skin over time, give it as a gift.
Does a decant smell different from the original?
No. Transferring doesn't alter the composition. If you perceive a difference, it's likely linked to temperature, ambient humidity, or your own skin chemistry: every application is unique, even with the same fragrance.
Can I order a fragrance not in your catalogue?
Not for now. The VESTIGIUM catalogue is curated: we rigorously select what we offer. If you have a strong suggestion, write to us: we'll consider it.
