Rose and vanilla, said plainly and generously. Roses Vanille opens on a bright Italian lemon before a Turkish rose unfolds, candied like loukoum, over a bed of vanilla, white musk and soft cedarwood. It is not a complicated perfume: it is a comfortable one, executed with unusual warmth.
Composed by Pierre Montale and released in 2011, it has become one of Mancera's quiet bestsellers for a reason: the rose stays fresh, the vanilla stays clean, and the whole composition purrs along for hours.
